The Club's Outdoor Education Center, a mentoring program, takes Denver metro-area urban youth, ages 8-18, into the outdoors for experiential instruction and training, environmental education programs, environmental stewardship projects, and activities such as hiking, mountaineering, camping, backpacking, fishing, river rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, rock climbing, snows shoeing, and cross- country skiing. We provide transportation, food and all necessary outdoor equipment. Program activities are offered year-round, and include visits to numerous state and national parks. |
